A radiant, fair glowing complexion begins with proper diet and care. Skin needs time and care for rejuvenation and regeneration. Skin needs basic care to improve its condition and tone.

Zest for life is created and life changes, as one focuses on enhancing one`s beauty. A radiant, flawless skin is attained by following simple ways. Beauty is achieved by strictly and sincerely following a Beauty Regimen, healthy diet, lifestyle modifications.

Beauty Regimen

  • Skin Cleansing, Toning and Moisturizing
  • Cleansing is the first step to clear and resplendent skin. Dirt and harsh sunlight robs skin of its lustre. Take the jelly of Aloe Vera and mix it with milk and apply it on the face. After few minutes, wash it away. Toning can be done by using lime juice or milk to remove the dead cells. Make a paste with besan, curd and turmeric and wash your face.

  • Steaming
  • Regular steaming will make the face look clearer, cleaner and softer. Dirt accumulated during the day clogs the pores and decreases circulation.Boil some water in a vessel with green tea and chopped ginger, cover the head with a towel and take in the steam vapours.

  • Homemade Scrubs for glowing skin- Exfoliation
  • Take a mixture of brown or white sugar with olive oil or coconut oil in a ratio of 2:1. Apply it on the face and scrub it gently. For those with oily skin, one can use lime juice and sea salt as a scrub. Exfoliation removes dead cells and gives the face a clean and bright appearance.

  • Turmeric
  • Turmeric mixed with curd or honey acts as a good exfoliator and gives a glowing skin. Turmeric gives the skin a visible golden glow. It is the best remedy for a fair complexion. A mixture of besan, lime juice and turmeric applied on the skin for a few minutes can do wonders.

  • Use of olive oil
  • Olive oil is a natural moisturizer filled with antioxidants and fatty acids. Before retiring to bed, every night apply olive oil to the face for skin rejuvenation and prevention of formation of fine lines and wrinkles on the face.

Healthy Diet

  • Vegetable Smoothie for radiant skin
  • Mix in a blender purple cabbage, cucumber and handful of purple grapes. Drink this smoothie for excellent benefits of glowing skin.

  • Water
  • Water energizes and relieves one from fatigue. It keeps the skin hydrated and makes the face appear fresh. A minimum of eight glasses of water should be taken every day.

  • Intake of citrus fruits
  • For a glowing complexion, regular intake of oranges and lemons are a must. When applied externally to the facial skin, helps to tighten the pores and remove dead cells and acts as a toner too.

  • Strawberries for glowing complexion
  • Strawberries have the highest vitamin C content than any other berry. A fruit salad made from straw berries can bring a healthy glow to a dull face. A fruit and nut salad made with fresh strawberries, spinach leaves, walnuts and honey can do wonders to improve one`s complexion. It is a real must try!!

Lifestyle Changes

  • Exercise
  • Physical exercise for 30 minutes every day can do a lot to improve skin health. Exercise carries blood and all the nutrients to all the cells, including the skin cells and makes it healthy. Exercise removes cellular debris and free radicals from the body and cleanses it from within.

  • Sleep
  • For a healthy skin, seven to eight hours of sleep is absolutely needed. Lack of proper deep sleep often results in bad complexion and dark circles.
