Subrata Roy of Sahara Group had his two sons married amidst glamour, glitz and style in Lucknow in the year 2004.The wedding of Sushanto with Richa and Seemanto with Chandni was an extremely flamboyant affair at the magnificent Sahara Auditorium which dazzled with torchlights, lamps, marshalls and prism glasses.
High profile guests present were Bal Thackeray, Amitabh Bachchan, Mulayam Singh Yadhav, Anil Ambani, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Around 11,000 wedding guests were served with a lavish feast of over 110 different cuisines all over the world.
Celebrity performances were from Shiamak Davar Group and British Symphony Orchestra.
Mittal Wedding

This fairy tale wedding took place in France in the year 2004 with Steel tycoon, Lakshmi Mittal`s only daughter, Vanisha Mittal to a London based Banker, Amit Bhatia. Wedding festivities took place at the Palace of Versailles. The celebrations went on for 6 days. Munna Maharaj, famous chef who catered to Kumara Mangalam Birla`s wedding, catered for the wedding with vegetarian delicacies.
International pop star, Kylie Minogue attended the wedding. Bollywood celebrities who attended the wedding were Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Akshay Kumar, Rani Mukherjee, Juhi Chawla, and Saif Ali Khan. Dance performances were choreographed by Farah Khan.
Congress MP Kanwar Singh Tanwar`s Wedding

The flamboyant wedding of Delhi businessman and Congress MP, Kanwar Singh Tanwar`s son Lalit to Yogita Jaunapuria took place in Delhi in 2011. Over 15,000 guests were served with over 100 delicacies. Guests were gifted with an expensive shawl, safari suit, silver coin and Rs. 2,100 cash.
Tanwar`s son was gifted with a Bell 429 helicopter worth about 29 crores by his in-laws. It was a high profile political wedding with Prime Minister, all top notch political leaders ,King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan gracing the occasion. Celebrity performances were given by Neha Dhupia.
Assomull`s Wedding

The most elaborate Indian wedding of Gaurav Assomull, CEO of Marigold Group took place in Monaco to socialite Kajal Fabiani.The four day fiesta was the most expensive wedding that the Mediterranean principality had ever seen. The mehendi was held at Monaco`s most luxurious hotel, Hotel Hermitage, which was followed by sangeet at the exceptional, Hotel De Paris. Assomul rode on a white horse and lead the baraat (procession) from Casino Square to Hotel Heritage. Two Indian elephants were also included for good luck in the Casino Square to the venue of the wedding.
Final concert of the wedding was given by Pop Star, Akon.
Chatwal Wedding
Cost: 100 crores
A week long wedding festivities took place between a hotel baron, Vikram Sachdev and model Priya Sachdev. The extravagant wedding took place in 2006 with 600 guests being invited. The guests came from over 26 countries and were flown in private chartered jets for the wedding fiesta that took place across three Indian cities of Delhi, Udaipur and Mumbai.
